The Peninsula
The Peninsula was among the very first premium planned communities at Lake Norman. Just 20 minutes from Charlotte in the town of Cornelius, it is a full-time resort and golf community with 11 miles of shoreline, several first-rate clubs, and spectacular homes created by the region’s top builders.

The Swim and Tennis Club offers two pools, six Fast-dry tennis courts, a tennis pro shop, a grill room, and an exercise room.
The Peninsula Yacht Club, “PYC”, opened in 1996 with a world-class sailing and boating facility. It is the premier marina of Lake Norman with a 15,000 square-foot clubhouse, outdoor playground, teen room, swimming pool, dining room, marina store, and dressing rooms. Dock facilities include 405 slips ranging in size up to 45 feet.
Also within The Peninsula is Jetton Park, a 106-acre lakefront park with picnic sites, waterview decks, walking trails, bicycle rentals, eight lighted tennis courts, playgrounds, beaches, and concert grounds.

The Point
Imagine living in a lakeside community where you feel like you are on a permanent holiday. That community is The Point, a luxury golf course community outside Charlotte, in the town of Mooresville. The Point offers the unique combination of an upscale country club lifestyle and a casual setting on Lake Norman. The beauty of the lake along with the Greg Norman-designed golf course are a winning combination.
The Lake Club overlooking Lake Norman has become a popular spot for wedding receptions and corporate gatherings and stays booked for months in advance.
A Nantucket-style Village serves as the heart of this 1,200-acre community, complete with charming cobblestone streets. Here you’ll find traditional club facilities, a Tavern, General Store, Village Green and a Meeting House for private events.

Birkdale is a Huntersville Golf community with a premium daily fee course that has private course flair.
